Aqua's Altaria

Before I start let me just say HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER MADE!

My favorite Flying type;

Altaria, the Humming Pokemon.

The fact I had Photoshop troubles didn't stop me from finishing this today. I was looking forward to this so much, and nothing was gonna stop me. I'm tempted to just upload this immediately, but I'm gonna be describing the pure awesomeness that evolves from a Swablu.

Swablu was another Normal/Flying type. There was nothing special about it, at first. But Swablu set its mind to being the most awesome badass that has ever soared through the skies of this earth and he didn't fail. He aced his mission with not only Flying, but Dragon colors.

Now, I've already done another Flying type (Pelliper), but Altaria is my all time favourite Pokemon and will probably always be just that. And why exactly is that? Altaria is no ordinary bird, Altaria is supposed to resemble Peng; giant motherf*cking dragon-like birds with enormous clouds as wings transformed from immense leviathans! They soared through the heavens at extreme speeds with extreme grace! Altaria doesn't quite seem to reach that level of awesomeness, though, and that's a shame.

Altaria isn't much of a dragon, now is it. It's cute little beak is hardly strong enough to bite through butter. Altaria resides in NU and is probably never used there either. A 4x Ice weakness, 2x Stealth Rock weakness are Altaria's metagame bane. Altaria can keep up though; with Dragon Dance, Natural Cure, Draco Meteor, Choice Specs and perhaps Dragon Pulse or Fire Blast, Altaria handles itself surprisingly well. Roostin or Resting is quite useful, and as a support Altaria's bulkiness can come in handy. And altough Altaria isn't the best in metagame, its pretty damn good in casual play.

But you don't like a Pokemon because it's good in metagame, right? Naaaaaah, ofcourse not! You like it because its design is the most awesome design you've ever seen, in your opinion. And its just the same with Altaria. Altaria is the cutest dragon you'll find in R/S/E and probably in any Pokemon game, ever. It just looks so pretty and beautiful while maintaining the intimidating factor of it being able to shoot fire balls out of its mouth. The bright blue goes so well with the simple white and makes Altaria a calming sight to see. With some higher stats, Altaria could be the talk of the town; let's just hope for a Mega evolution.

Altaria isn't all that amazing, but after 5 hours work total, I can honestly say I like Altaria more.
